The Pongo De Mainique is a Gorge situated some 100 miles from Cusco the Archaeological capital of South America. The PONGO (as known locally) is the last gorge which cuts it’s way through the Andes and drops you deep into the jungle of Peru. This 3 mile long gorge described by Michael Palin in his book “Full Circle” as “Nothing I have read or fantasized about has prepared me for this place. It's an enchanted world”.

We are offering you the chance to visit this extraordinary area of the world by plane or car. We have trips available from 4 to 8 days all inclusive.
