Day 1. Cusco – Keswachaka
ransfer 2 hours by car from Cusco to Pomacanchi Lake(3,600m). We cycle on the rarely used bumpy road around 20km between Pomacanchi Lake and Acopia Lake, (here we will have lunch). We have another transfer of 30mins visiting the tiny volcano of Yanaoca to the Abra of Yanaoca. From here it is a 35km descent to Keswachaka Bridge (literally grass bridge). The last used Inca Bridge hanging over the Apurimac River. This is best visited at the beginning of June (date flexible) for the annual renewing ceremony of the bridge. Camping here. Biking class 2 – 5. There are options for all levels.

Day 2. Keswachaka – Cusco
Early rise and 2 and a ½ hour transfer to Chuquicahuana Bridge. Here our raft will be ready waiting for us. Upon arrival we will be briefed and change into our river rafting gear, ready for some serious white water rafting fun of class III and IV. This particular part of the river offers a section that is 5km of pure rapids. Finish rafting at Cusipata around 2pm in the afternoon where we will have lunch. Transfer to Cusco. Rafting class III and IV.
