Volunteer Opportunities

Here in Cusco there are many volunteer opportunities. We can help you organise your internship or if you wish to volunteer for a couple of weeks we can assist.

Eco Trek Peru works with 3 organisations. The first is in the jungle at Ivochote Primary School where we are trying to assist the children. We require people to help in all sorts of projects. Positions are available for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Secondly we assist in the Peru Rivers Project a worthwhile cause trying to educate and clean the rivers here in Peru. El dia del rio (river day) is on the 16th of September every year and you can join us to assist. Positions available 1 day (16th September) to 6 months. The 6 month position is to help organise the clean up.

Last but not least is Porteadores Inka Nan, the organisation dedicated to helping the porters of the Inka Trail. This project requires more long term assistance, minimum 3 months.

In addition to providing time there are other ways to help. Buying local goods, respecting the local customs and traditions, donating items. We have contacts with various organisation that need your help.
