The rest of today is free to acclimatize and enjoy the city. Your local representative will be available to accompany you for an orientation tour of the city center and to show you restaurants, shops or sites that you can visit on your own.
Day 3. Shamanic Ceremony in Cusco
This morning you will have a chance to meditate in the Temple of the Moon and another temple where you have three shamanic ceremonies performed with Qeros shamans.
You start with an oracle reading using coca leaves. The objective of an oracle Reading is to have a conversation with the intrinsic force and creator of the universe in which coca leaves are the medium of communication and the Andean priest clearly interprets what the oracles are saying. This is a ceremony which is accompanied by prayer. It will help you to recognize the good and the bad of your destiny and how to transmute the negative part into positive, receiving an orientation and consultation which will enable you to build a totally victorious state of life.
The second ceremony is a cleansing ceremony. This cleansing ceremony will only have an effect when one makes a firm decision to open and liberate one’s heart and mind to rid one’s self of any internal or external negative energy that has accumulated during one’s past. Together with the good guidance of the Shaman, it is permitted to achieve fusion with the Fundamental Force of the Universe (GOD) who sustains everything in His/Her different aspects, names and forms of healing as S/He is the doctor of all doctors. This way each one of us can strengthen our spirit, mind and body to overcome the challenges of life with joy and the desire to achieve more self-realization learning to transform the poison into a remedy.
Your third ceremony is a Pago a la Tierra. Pacha mama, feminine God for the Quechua and many other cultures. She is not solely pure earth She is holy spirit and pure love. She is a transcendental life equal to the intrinsic source of the universe (God). Her wisdom and mysteries are as inscrutable as the mysteries of the universe, her love is unconditional, she maintains life in harmony and order. We are the ones who alter her with our negative attitude. She protects all creatures without any distinction, we are her children and for this reason it is necessary to love, respect, recognize, thank her and to totally consecrate our life unconditionally serving and protecting our Mother Goddess. By offering ourselves to protect her with our values put into action in an unconditional way, we align ourselves with this spirit of full happiness and by aligning ourselves we attract and develop even more of this full happiness for ourselves, our family, our community, our planet and even our universe. This offering or ceremony to Pacha mama allows us to generate positivity to heal ourselves, to be blessed and to prosper in all aspects of our life, attracting and acquiring all of these benefits through the sanctification and consecration.

Today you depart early from your hotel for your tour by boat on Lake Titicaca. This tour takes you to the floating reed islands of Uros, and the Island of Amantani, where you will spend the night in a local house.
Have a look at Lake Titicaca information here.
Amantani island is located 26 miles (38 Km) away from the city of Puno (3 ½ hours of navigation in normal boat). Because of a more distant location, tourism on the island of Amantani has not developed in the same way as in Taquile. The main difference is that home-stays have remained a more authentic cultural experience in Amantani.
The 3,600 inhabitants of Amantani have also a Quechua origin and they are mainly small farmers. The most important crops in Amantani are Andean potatoes, bailey and green beans. The "Amantanenos" have not been as successful in their tourism entrepreneurial initiatives as their neighbors from Taquile. However, they have become excellent traders of the handicrafts that they produce such as the Andean grass baskets, embroideries, beautiful tapestry with baby alpaca fur and alpaca wool clothing.
The communities on Amantani, which are ten in total, take turns hosting the visitors who come, and agencies do not have a choice of which community to go to. Homestays are arranged by the communities.
For many people this home-stay experience and the encounter with the host family is a revelation of the reality of Andean people at such altitude. This cultural exchange experience in Amantani is very touching and fascinating. Also, in this tour, every traveler is welcome to share with the locals their time, some artistic gift, educational activities or just conversations. By participating in this tour you will contribute to improve the library that we are trying to implement in coordination with the local people from this island.
