Ausangate Lodge o Lodge 3 Days /2 Nights
Day 1: Cusco- Chillca
We will depart from Cusco and travel to Checacupe town, where we will visit the colonial temple of the Immaculate and have a snack. Then we start ascending to the Pitumarca Valley. Around noon we will have a picnic lunch in a beautiful spot. We will arrive to Chillca where we will be greeting by the community. At the first lodge we will have time to relax and enjoy the music provided by the locals. We will have dinner at the lodge.
Day 2: Chillca- Machuracay
We will start the day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge. Then our hike begins around 08:30 in the wide valley of Upis where impressive galaciated mountains loom above the valley offering majestic views. After we will have a snack enjoying the view we will make our way towards the waterfalls descending from the Santa Catalina Mountain. The picnic lunch will be waiting for us next to the Cochajaja lagoon. Then we will hike along a second lagoon and crossing a long series of moraines in order to reach the Machuracay Tambo. We will have dinner at the lodge.
Day 3: Machuracay- Cusco
We will start the day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge. The hike begins with a demanding ascent to the Palomani pass at an elevation of 5200 m./17 000ftA fantastic view of the glaciated south face of the “apu” will give us a wonderfull place to enjoy the snack.This day we will have the picnic lunch in wonderfull spot. The bus will be waiting to taking us back to Cusco.
